A new (but really, not-so-new) publishing schedule

You’ve probably figured - or maybe you know firsthand - publishing a post every day this last year has been darn near impossible. I could list off the litany of excuses, among them, being that I’m a more-than-full-time seminarian (I’ll be taking 7 classes this Spring semester - pray for me) and a new homeowner (who loves piddling around doing yardwork) with a kid who’s been homebound for a year and a wife who has a busy college admissions counseling practice.

Also, this year, living in the Sierras as opposed to last year, having lived in the great city of Chicago, there’s skiing. Which has been a welcome distraction.

Anyhow… The reason I’m writing this is to just say it…

My new (but really, not-so-new) posting schedule will probably be more like 2-3 times per week.

There. I said it. And it feels good. Because I’ve been feeling some self-disappointment about this for a long time. That identity as a “daily blogger” has been a point of pride for me. I did it for three - maybe even four - years straight. But now, it’s just not realistic.

Not that you care.
It’s more of a me-thing.
It sure feels nice to announce it, though.

Also, here’s the thing…

I plan on WRITING every single day. I just won’t be PUBLISHING daily. I’ll only be PUBLISHING when things are… Ready.

Seriously, though… I want to let things sit more. I want to edit my work more so that it’s… Really good. Not perfect, but, like, ready… Ya know?

Okay, so there it is. A quick little announcement. I hope this finds you and yours well and warm this fine Saturday evening. Have a great rest of your weekend.

As Ever,

Everything that I publish in this newsletter is free. THAT BEING SAID, you can support my work as a writer by becoming a member of my Patreon community, which you can learn more about here. That’s where I post my more in-depth and behind-the-scenes content, videos, etc.
