Already here

Although it seems like we "go to God” in prayer...
God’s already in us. 

Although it seems like we “seek God”…
God has already found us. 

Although it seems like we “open ourselves to God”…
God barges Her way in no matter what. 

And though it seems like we can “become spiritual”
God has already sent us the Spirit
who scruffs up our hair, winks at us, and points to Jesus
when we flex our tiny-but-adorable spiritual muscles.
