Apocalyptically Yours

I know it seems like it especially is now, but a quick glance at human history reveals the truth…

The world has always been falling apart.

The difference between the pre-internet days and now is that today we’re getting a play-by-play from an endless number of sources (most of whom profit off of our outrage).

We’re also getting a moment-to-moment livestream of apocalyptic thoughts from others via social media.

As bad as this whole world-falling-apart thing may seem, it’s the only way things move forward in God’s economy.

Newness doesn’t happen through calm and common sense. It happens through the kicking and screaming of old structures and standpoints as they die horrid deaths. 

This is the only way.
