Crisis of approval

The first word of the final judgment from the cross is essentially this:

“Hey, y’all... You’re okay!”

Not very many of us can stomach this.
It inflicts a crisis of approval
not of condemnation. 

You and I can rebel all we want
and there’s no way we’re ever squirming out
of God’s all-encompassing embrace.
