Everything is sacred, but we live in a state of forgetfulness of what is deepest in us and in everything. The more we forget our true identity, the more we forget to treat one another as sacred. We suffer from a kind of “soul-forgetfulness.”
Christ is our memory or “epiphany.” Jesus came to show us what we have forgotten and to reveal to us that we, in him and through the Holy Spirit, are bearers of divine belovedness. Christ re-members and reawakens us to our true nature and the true nature of the earth.
In this, we see that we
and all things
are in essence
sacred.
Amen.
As Ever,
Jonas
Thank you,Jonas. I am so thankful that my journey has lead me to grasp our belovedness-our sacredness-and for all people and all things-as so spiritually foundational. I have tried to follow Jesus my entire life; it is only in the last couple of years that my life has begun to change, however, due to this re-enlightenment. Our churches are just a bunch of people trying on most days (I hope) to do the right things, but boy have we all missed on this one! Thank you for expressing so beautifully and succinctly-so much better than I am ever able to relay-this wonderful truth. God bless you and your ministry.
Amen. :)
