Union precedes repentance.

We are not only loved by God
when we reach perfection
(impossible, btw).

Rather, God rushes to us
in our imperfection
and carries us
to union
with Him.

This is the Good News of the Incarnation.
It happens not just mythologically
but historically
in the person
of Jesus.

And this,
dear friend,

is perfect.
