Eternally steadfast

It could very well be the case that this transmission finds you in a place where you feel “on the outs” with God. I’ve certainly been there. But this is how all important relationships go, right? Even the most loving relationships carry a fair share of conflict and tension. We should expect this same dynamic in our relationship with God.

But even though things may be difficult or complex between you and God, there is truly no separation between you. You are not way down/over here and God is not way up/over there. You dwell in God and God dwells in you. In every moment, God is holding and surrounding you in steadfast love.

Scripture is chock full of people who had rocky seasons with God. And in these stories, we see a God who is faithful when they/we are not.
