Fancy a book study?
If you’re like everyone else in the world right now, you’re probably at home social-distancing (yes, that is now a verb). I also know that this doesn’t automatically mean that you have a bunch of free time on your hands. Especially if you’re a parent like me and my wife who’ve now unexpectedly and involuntarily added “homeschool teacher” to our already bloated freelancer/seminarian job/life descriptions.
THAT BEING SAID, it’s also important to make time for reflection and spiritual renewal. And that’s why I’m writing to you today…
I recently completed recording the final module of my 8-week book study of Fr. Richard Rohr’s The Universal Christ.
Throughout the 8 weeks of the study, I added a module (both audio and PDF) at the beginning and end of each week. Well, now all of the modules are there and ready for you to pour through.
It includes between 6-8 hours of audio (with accompanying PDF’s) that include guided contemplative exercises, journaling prompts, rants, and reflections by yours truly.
The study is a $40 downloadable course (if you’re an upper-tier Patreon supporter, you already have access to this study as part of your perks - let me know if you don’t know how to access it).
[NOTE: Fr. Rohr’s book is not included with the study - ya gotta grab that from your favorite bookseller.]
You can go at your own pace... Maybe you’ve already read the book and just want to barrel straight through this thing. Perhaps you want to read and reflect along with the 8-week schedule and listen as you go. Or somewhere in between.
I pray that you have some time on your hands to care for your soul. Fr. Rohr’s book has been an absolute gift to me and this study has only brought it to life that much more. I hope you enjoy it…
