God makes masterpieces out of our messes

I love how the scriptures don’t showcase the winners or moralistic superstars. God seems to go out of God’s way to select exactly the “wrong people” for God’s most important missions.

Just because you don’t meet your own or the world's expectations doesn’t mean you don’t meet God’s.

If you don’t think you’re cut out for this (whatever “this” is)…

You might just be chosen for the task.

God can make amazing things out of your failures just as well as your wins.
