Hiding in the shadows

It's not so much "bad people" that I'm worried about...

It's not "bad" people who push the button on a nuclear bomb. It's someone who's blinded by their self-defined goodness that will take aim and toast a swath of Earth and its inhabitants in order to "deproblematize" it.

Sin likes to hide in the shadows of righteousness.

In the cross, self-righteousness is revealed as murder and leads to death.

But in its place rises a righteousness, not of the self, but of the divine. Washing all of creation clean and bringing newness to life.
