It's So Much More Than That

It’s so easy to turn the Bible into a vapid and lifeless book of dos and don'ts (and mostly don'ts). To use it as a way to justify ourselves in opposition to others. 

Let’s not do this.
The Bible offers way more than that. It’s a library of books that never exhausts itself.

It’s a book to wrestle with.
To question.
To wonder.
To doubt.
To rejoice in.
To cherish.
To throw at the wall.

And to hold to your heart in your most trying moments.
