Look around

Our folly is in our spiritual pretension.
Our strength is in our creatureliness.

When we try to figure God out
by considering a bearded scorekeeper
in the clouds
or even ‘the universe’
we lose sight
of our neighbor in need
and the miraculous created world
under our feet.

God is seen only recognized
in the dying and rising Christ.

Death and resurrection
(old then new)
is God’s only way.

Everywhere.
