Color
The law is all about seeing in black and white. The gospel is all about seeing in color. The rational human mind can easily get on board with black and white. But that isn’t reality. Reality is color. Different shades and hues some of which you find appalling some of which you find astounding some of which you’re indifferent to and some of which you go back and forth on. But in color, we find complexity diversity and difference. The gospel gives us the good news that it’s not about what is right and what is wrong but rather, it’s about embracing the spectrum of color that appears in the world around us and within us Amen.

THE RATIONAL HUMAN MIND …. What a construct … filled with color and yet selfishly wants see only black and white! Right or Wrong … seems to be the only choice answers for a black and white world … and I am not convinced the gospels does give us all the spectrum of whom and what we really are … but faith does want me to embrace THE COLOR and for that I am grateful! As I am everytime I read your words. That crack of light that comes through has all the colors of the rainbow in it … and that fills my soul with hope! Thank You!
