The journey towards us

The biblical journey
is God’s journey towards us,
not our journey towards God. 

God doesn’t wait for us
to be spiritually or moralistically ready.
God commandeers us.

What is God doing here right now?
What is God stirring up in me today?

God can totally use those who don’t ask these questions
or even ‘believe’ in God at all. 

But it’s a lot more interesting
to be aware of what’s going on.
