🔥 Is A Course in Miracles Heretical?
·
This is the fifth post in my series, “Grace Between the Lines”—a journey through the beautifully strange overlap between Lutheran theology, mystical spirituality, and the books and ideas that have shaped me along the way. Whether you're deeply churched, gently deconstructing, or just spiritually nosy (my people), I’m so glad you’re here.
Hey Brother,
I decided your homily would be my "sermon" this Sunday morning. And man, did I choose right. Or was it the Spirit inside me who did?! Given that we're One, I'll roll with that.
There were so many beautiful moments when I wanted to write down your message, so I could recall them later in the week.
Now, as I'm writing this, I realize those pearls from your sermon are already within me; that's why they resonated so strongly. Wisdom resides within all of us; it's who we are. We simply need someone to shine a light, that we may see.
Thank you for showing up today, for being obedient to your spirit, and for your commitment to being of service in such a meaningful way.
I heard it said years ago, and I reflect on this periodically, that God does not call the qualified. He qualifies the one who answers the call.
Thank you, Jonas, for answering the call.
Love you man,
- Joe
