We don’t have an indifferent God
Wrath or anger is not the opposite of love.
Indifference is.
In Scripture, when God is peeved with people (which happens on many occasions), it’s not easy to stomach as the reader, but at least it shows that God is emotionally committed.
Nowhere in scripture does it say, “This and that happened, and God didn’t really care.”
Love gets messy sometimes.
Especially parental love like God has for us.
And it’d be weird if it were any other way.
