I’ll never get it done (and I cannot get it wrong)
(2-min read) Here’s a mantra I heard the other day that’s growing on me… I’ll never get it done. I cannot get it wrong. I mean, sure… I can accomplish little things. I can even accomplish things that seem like they’re big. But even the things that seem monumental turn out to be small and eventually fade from view in the rear-view mirror of time as life moves along. And yes, I can make messes of things. Unachievable, unearnable belovedness
(3-min read) The human tendency is to deem ourselves worthless and then cook up all kinds of sordid ways to try to earn what we already have. Ugh… Why do our little silly human brains do this? We deem that when we check off whatever boxes our culture, false egoic self, and/or authority figures in life have deemed important, THEN we’ll be worthy of love and acceptance.
