What's the bad news?

Here’s one of the problems when we hold our human egoic capabilities in too high of regard (aka a “high anthropology”)... 

If we can’t hear the bad news about ourselves, we can’t hear the good news about God (and we can’t heal). 

New life in Christ can only come after death of the false self. A lot of this is out of our hands, but there’s no need to extend the process.
