I historically do not fare well in with the abundance of darkness this time of year and have to really focus to see any good side of it. I walk my dog up to three times a day and the driving wind and freezing temps don't make it as enjoyable as the rest of the year. ;) Although I am no fan of how it is impacting the world (damn you climate change!) I have to admit that I'm a much happier person because of the milder climate in Maryland this month. Being outside more, I actually felt the shift in the world on Winter Solstice this year. I hope to suck up enough peace with the darkness to be able to pull it out in February. Magic for sure.
