This evening, I give you one word as your mantra…

‘Good.’

(Note: Not ‘perfect.’
But ‘good.’)

Perfect is a killer of good.
And perfection is a myth.

Perfection is not how God created us or our world.
God created us…

‘Good.’
And…
’Very good.’¹

Sure, shoot for ‘very good.’
But mostly, ‘good’ is just about right.

Again, ‘perfect’ is an illusion that kills. It does not exist.
All that exists…

Is good.
And enough.
Good enough.

If perfect is keeping you away from sleep.
If perfect is keeping you tied to your screen.
If perfect is keeping you away from your loved ones.
If perfect is keeping you on the ropes.
If perfect is keeping you up in your head all day.
If perfect is keeping you from noticing and rejoicing in your life.
Right here.
Right now.

Good
and at times, very good
is good enough.

Go with good.
Good is Godly.
Good is your mantra.
