It’s easy to think that, the more religious/spiritual we are, the less we sin/mess up. It can seem like this, especially if we’re new to church - maybe we’re called back later in life after a few decades of being away (yes, I’m talking about myself here). We go back and it can feel like we’re super-duper holy now. Life is gonna be a breeze because - doggone it - we finally came to our senses and got right with the ‘Lawd.
I’m far from going back to church but I certainly benefit from your widened perspective. I always acknowledge the existence of a higher power. Mostly I thank that power(God?, collective unconscious?) for being there and supporting my intention to be a loving human being. I know you’re one and thank you for sharing. Also, I love seeing Rory. Aren’t you blessed to have her! Keep up the struggle. We’re allinittogether!

Love the insight! “Sin is never healed; it’s forgiven.” Excellent.
