Wowza! It’s been a while since I’ve written in this here online journal of sorts. I hope this finds you well and warm. Truth be told, I got pretty overwhelmed during the ‘22 holiday season. I’ve been taking full loads at seminary (averaging 6 classes per semester; but I’m DONE in May, PRAISE!!). And then, tack on my church duties, being a dad, a husband, a citizen, a friend, and all of the other things…
Welcome back, you busy priestly scribe. I knew a fellow who wasn’t Catholic, more of a curious agnostic. But he’d often come to mass on Sunday just for the priest’s outstanding homilies, which often explored parables from contemporary movies, or lessons from great books, or even everyday stories with a lovely message for spiritual and life guidance. I think your wisdom can be similarly dispensed here, to the delight of believers and non-believers. Whether written, recorded, or video-taped.
I kind of missed you... 😜, (I was a bit busy with my own personal stuff), though I was aware of your pause... That's OK with me, if you need a break, you take a break, if you can. I do that too. 👍😊
