Some things I’ve been meditating on... Jesus’s role was never to be a human shield sent to ‘save us’ from an abusive god. Jesus came to reveal a God who saves unconditionally. Jesus’s role was never to ALLOW God to love us. Jesus came to reveal God AS love.
