Nicely put. When people ask me what I think heaven and hell are, I usually say Heaven is being in God's presence eternally and Hell is being separated from God eternally. Since Hell is theologically tenuous, I like this much better.
I always enjoy your thinking. For a preacher, you are totally cool. Regarding the seldom defined "sin", I am attracted to the Hindu philosophy of Ahimsa, meaning "do no harm". This is akin to Jesus (and old testament) view of Love which replaces all commandments, laws, rules, etc. If we do no harm to self or others, we have lived love, committed no violation of any law or rule, committed no sin.
