I really like - and readily agree with - all of what you have said here about "The Way', Jonas!
As a teen-ager attending a Christian Ashram in the High Sierras with my family many years ago, I was mesmerized by the teachings of E. Stanley Jones, a Methodist missionary to India, who shared those teachings with great simplicity through his little devotional books, one of which was called, 'The Way' (and another was 'Abundant Living'). Far ahead of his time, his teachings through those little books (especially 'The Way') became a key to my way of life as I know it today. Thank you for resurrecting that wonderful memory!
Funny how catch phrases seem to embody message at times. "The kingdom is withing you", is what I thought of as I read the post. Another phrase is "keep it simple". Jonas I like how you try hard to show us how being a Christian isn't a political party but simply another way of finding our own respectful way in life. I will keep your thoughts in mind as do my chores this day. TR Frontone, Italy.
"...not blocking what’s already there.." is a great phrase to meditate on. :)

Definitely my pleasure, Jonas!

Thanks so much for your kind words, Tony. Means a lot. I really try to keep partisan politics out of the picture here.
Keep writing and I will keep reading. TR
