Some theological thoughts on nature for what they're worth... I quite like the imagery of 'mother nature'. Seriously. There's a certain feminine spiritual energy to nature that seems... right. I also think that, when you make nature into a god(dess), it can be problematic.
This is incredible! I've always struggled with where we are supposed to place our thoughts on nature. And after reading a halloween article this week, on how "witches" and evil ones actually WORSHIP nature, I was left feeling very confused on what God intends my role to nature to be. I love this view of it as a "sibling." A beautiful sibling that serves as a reminder of God's creative hand in every detail, but also a powerful sibling that can remind us that we are ultimately not in control. Thank you, Jonas! Yes Jonas nature IS where we find GOD and I believe it’s our duty to nurture nature so the Divine “light" can continue to sustain us on Earth.
