The grand story begins and ends the same way: with God-with-us. Everything that happens in between proclaims the same… Even while we screw up royally and hurt others as well as ourselves. Even while we think we’ve run as far away from it as we can. Even while we try to claim it as our own and keep everyone else out (to our own detriment)…
