Last week, Rory (my 6yo daughter) had a cold. As I was putting her to bed and laying with her as she drifted off to sleep, I said our ritual nighttime prayer. At a certain point, I made the petition... “I pray that God heals Rory as she sleeps...” Here was the following dialogue:
