In the Christian sense, righteousness (worthiness) can only be accepted (from outside of us — through Christ), not performed. Performative righteousness is a hamster wheel. Especially online where it’s incentivized. It’s an impossible game that only buries us deeper and deeper into the algorithm of our unchallenged biases.
